Maine is a great place for hikers. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Branch Lake Stream. There's so much to do here at Hemlock Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort is a magnificent place for that. Hemlock Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Getting to Eddie Brook from Hemlock Trail is trouble-free, and Uncle Steves Point is close at hand and always
tremendous to pop by. This site is peerless, just look at all the fun things to do in the vicinity of Hemlock Trail. If time allows, Acadia National Park is a national park worth taking a look at, and beaches are great and Hunters Beach is no exception.
High temperatures at
Hemlock Trail through the summertime months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Hemlock Trail night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. There are some great whitewater spots on Union River; a magnificent beach nearby is Sand Beach. Some nearby water includes Kebo Brook, and nearby Cromwell Harbor Ledge is a great site to go.
Do set aside some time for The Featherbed while you're here at Hemlock Trail, and if you came to camp Bar Harbor Campground

is a nice spot to do that. Very great water scenery is available at The Tarn Dam close to Hemlock Trail, and don't leave Hemlock Trail without first paying a visit to Sieur de Monts Spring.
