  Howe is in a quite desolate area and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Howe is a good location of common rain; July is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Howe is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Chimney Pond Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and a pleasant spree to North Basin is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.
Throughout the summer months at Howe highs are usually in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes
    with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Howe temperatures sink to the-10's. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Howe has to offer, you can camp at South Branch Pond Campground; paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream River is so much fun.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Howe.
Get dripping wet paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream, and if you're here at Howe it's a glorious idea to stop at Northwest Basin. Visit Annis Brook if you're here at Howe, and a visit to Caribou Spring will fill your soul with magnificent feelings. This part of Maine has a great deal of available outdoors activities.
