Island Pond Trail

  No chance of getting bored in Maine if you like the outdoors. Drift down the rapids of Machias River in a kayak; you can stay the night at Clover Hill Campground. Fourmile Brook is a great spot to take a look at. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Island Pond Trail has to offer, you can camp at Pelletier's Campground. Don't leave Island Pond Trail without first paying a visit to Fish River Falls. Some of the water close by flows, like Island
    Pond Stream It's always pleasant to take a look at Red River Falls. Paddling on Fish River is so much fun. For the period of the months of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Island Pond Trail. Once the sun is down it drops
down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 10's; night lows at Island Pond Trail through the wintertime typically plunge into the-10's. The annual rain here at Island Pond Trail is about average. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month.
