| | Kennedy Tote Road is in a quite desolate area and hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mattawamkeag River - East Branch, and hey, Little Mill Brook is a glorious local stream.
High temperatures at Kennedy Tote Road through the summertime are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Kennedy Tote Road during the wintertime usually drop into the-10's. |
Mattawamkeag River - West Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping is available at Wilde Pines Campground. Camping at Bear Mountain Lodge is always a brilliant experience, and swing by Carlisle Brook it's a good place to have a look at.
