Lake Trail

  You'll have to go far from Bangor to get to Lake Trail but it is one of many great trails in this area. This part of Maine has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Schoodic Stream. Camping is available at Allagash Gateway Campsite, and there's whitewater on Piscataquis River for all you thrill seekers. Lake Trail is not far at all from Bangor; a splendid location to camp here at Lake Trail is South Branch
