  If you are in Maine during hiking season you have to go hiking. Millinocket Lake Tote Road is in a quite desolate area and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Camping at Millinocket Lake Tote Road is brilliant fun, Shin Pond Village Campground is a brilliant local campground.
At Millinocket Lake Tote Road through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Millinocket Lake Tote Road.
    From a precipitation point of view Millinocket Lake Tote Road is a pretty typical spot; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Looking for some flowing water? Try Little Mooseleuk Stream, and there are some wonderful
whitewater spots on Millinocket Stream.
If you came for an overnight stay Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a perfect place to camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Munsungan Stream. A day at lovely Gilman Beach near Millinocket Lake Tote Road is a great thing to do; hey, Mooseleuk Stream is a nice local stream.
