Milrose Trail

  This part of Maine has a great deal of available outdoors activities. You'll have to go far from Lewiston-Auburn to get to Milrose Trail but it is a great escape from the city. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Oxford County of Maine, Milrose Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the White Mountains, it's a great hiking area.
    North Camps is a nice local campground, and since you're here you have to explore Spots Point. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Getting to Rangeley River from Milrose Trail is trouble-free;
Milrose Trail is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Cupsuptic Campground is a delightful site to camp nearby. Not far from Milrose Trail you get some good water scenery at Rangeley Lake Dam, and you'll probably meet some people from Rangeley here. A trip to Rangeley Lake State Park when you're here at Milrose Trail is never a bad idea, and get wet paddling on Kennebago River. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Milrose Trail
has it all. Some of the water nearby flows, like Kennebago River, and soar down the rapids of Black Brook in a kayak. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the White Mountains. Throughout the days of summer here at Milrose Trail, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's.
