National Merchant Trail

  National Merchant Trail is a long drive away from Rockland but trails like these are great. Hiking here in Maine is a must. Duck Harbor Campground is a fine local campground, and nearby you hit upon Cape Ann Ledge which is a good place to take a look at. Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park is a delightful campground nearby; in case you donít mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Goose Falls. There's some flowing water nearby, Merchant
    Brook is a stream you can go to while you're here. A day at striking Boom Beach near National Merchant Trail is a nice thing to do. During your tour to National Merchant Trail you'll meet some people from Matinicus for sure, and on
a delightful day you can visit Goss Beach. But wait, there's more to do near National Merchant Trail. Blue Hill Falls is a wonderful whitewater spot in the vicinity of National Merchant Trail, and close by you discover Merchants Cove.
