  Far from civilization you find North Ridge Trail and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Branch Lake Stream, and on a delightful day you can explore Hunters Beach.
The high level of precipitation makes North Ridge Trail a pretty wet place; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is August. Canon Brook flows through this area, and if you have time to spare, Acadia National Park is a national park worth stopping at. If you're interested in hydro structures,
    you can stop at Eagle Lake Dam. There's so much to do here at North Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Somes Sound View Campground is a great site for that.
So much fun stuff to do here at North Ridge Trail, too tremendous to be true. A visit to The Featherbed
invigorates the soul, and a quick tour to Bubble Brook is beyond doubt a fine idea. You'll need more than a day to explore everything North Ridge Trail has to offer, you can camp at Bar Harbor Campground, and glide down the rapids of Union River in a kayak. Sieur de Monts Spring is a perfect local attraction, and Sand Beach is a delightful beach to take a look at.
You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and if you happen to be in Hancock County of Maine, North Ridge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg
 
stretching. For the duration of the summertime highs here at North Ridge Trail reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at North Ridge Trail.
