Northwest Basin Trail

  This part of Maine has a great deal of available outdoors activities. It's a long drive from Bangor to Northwest Basin Trail but hiking it is great fun any time. South Branch Pond Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and it's a great idea to pop by Annis Brook. Northwest Basin is a perfect place here at Northwest Basin Trail It's always great to visit Caribou Spring. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Nesowadnehunk
    Stream River. Chimney Pond Campground is a delightful local campground, and Saddle Spring is a good local attraction. You might want to pay a visit to Witherle Ravine since you're here at Northwest Basin Trail. There's whitewater
on Nesowadnehunk Stream for all you adrenaline junkies. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Northwest Basin Trail. The month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. During the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Northwest Basin Trail. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Northwest Basin Trail are in the-10's.
