Norton Trail

  A long drive separates Bangor from Norton Trail, but it is a great escape from the city. Maine is a great outdoors state. Here at Norton Trail there are plenty of folks from Brownville; in case you donít have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Schoodic Stream. Do schedule some time to have a look at Chase Cove next to Norton Trail if you have a chance. Pleasant River - East Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close
    by. There's so much to do here at Norton Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Jo-mary Lake Campground is a great spot for that. Norton Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch Lake Camp is a fine local
campground. Norton Trail gets a typical amount of rainfall. July is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. During the summer at Norton Trail highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Norton Trail temperatures dip to the-10's.
