  You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and if you happen to be in Oxford County of Maine, Old Speck Mountain Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. In Maine you never run out of outdoors fun. A delightful place to camp here at Old Speck Mountain Trail is South Arm Campground.
Old Speck Mountain Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and it is one of many great trails in this area. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the White Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these
    mountains. Grafton Notch is close to Old Speck Mountain Trail and is undeniably a brilliant place to take a look at It's always good to take a look at Mother Walker Falls.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the White Mountains. Camping at Pleasant River Campground
is always a delightful experience, and a brilliant spot for whitewater paddling is Bear. Pond Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while here, and Swift Cambridge River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. From a rainfall point of view Old Speck Mountain Trail is a relatively common spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Summer at Old Speck Mountain Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Old Speck Mountain Trail are in the 0's.
