Old Spring Trail

  This part of Maine has a great deal of available outdoors activities. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Old Spring Trail in Hancock County, Maine is the outdoors at it's best. Don't forget to take a wonderful little tour to Duck Pond Brook, and you are close to Carter Cove since you're here. Great Brook is a picturesque stream that is worth going to; get soaked paddling on Union River. Cobble Beach is near Old Spring Trail if you're in a beach
    type of mood, and the great folks of Mount Desert like to hang out nearby. Near Old Spring Trail you come across glorious spots like Little Notch, and the vistas at Acadia National Park will blow your mind. If only every spot had
this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. If you came for an overnight stay White Birches Campground is a nice spot to camp. Lamoine State Park is a good site to go if you're at Old Spring Trail; if you want to hit the beach, Echo Lake Beach is in the neighborhood. Whitewater paddling is good on Blue Hill Falls, and Smuggler's Den Campground is a tremendous local campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to  
Old Spring Trail while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Old Spring Trail. Old Spring Trail is a relatively wet place commonly with lots of precipitation. November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is August.
