| | Because Old Spring Trail is very far from civilization it is a good trail. Hiking here in Maine is a must. A tour to Acadia National Park is worthwhile, and unsurprisingly Duck Pond Brook is a pretty stream that is worth checking out. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue Hill Falls; a glorious place to camp here at Old Spring Trail is White Birches Campground. You are near Carter Cove while you're here at Old Spring Trail, and while you're here here do stop at nearby Cobble Beach. All the water |
