  Because Potters Trail is very far from civilization when you hike it you're always having a good time. This part of Maine has a great deal of available outdoors activities. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Baskahegan Stream; you can stay the night at Mountain View Campground.
Meduxnekeag River - South Branch has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby, Jimmy Brook is a stream you can stop at while here. Dead Brook is near Potters Trail and is always a
    pleasure to take a look at. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Potters Trail has to offer, you can camp at Greenland Cove Campground.
