Saddle Trail

Saddle Trail is not very near Bangor at all but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Maine has lots of outdoors activities. Caribou Spring is a fine local attraction, and a pleasant spree to South Basin is a good way to spend an afternoon. Since you're here at Saddle Trail why not take a look at York Valley, and camping is available at Chimney Pond Campground. It's always great to have a look at Saddle Spring, and Great Basin
is a great location to stretch your legs a bit. Why not camp at Roaring Brook Campground if you're here at Saddle Trail, and Nesowadnehunk Stream River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. This is no site for people who donít
like to have a good time. Whitewater paddling is good on Sandy Stream. Saddle Trail is a good site of normal rainfall. Most of the rain falls throughout July; February is the month with the least moisture. Through the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Saddle Trail. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Saddle Trail overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's.
