Scutaze Trail

  Hiking here in Maine is a must. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Scutaze Trail in Piscataquis County, Maine is the outdoors at it's best. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Piscataquis River, and some of the water nearby flows, like Packard Brook. You can run the rapids of Schoodic Stream right next door to Scutaze Trail, and Scutaze Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch
    Lake Camp is a great local campground. During your journey to Scutaze Trail you'll meet some folks from Lagrange for sure. Getting to Schoodic Stream from Scutaze Trail is uncomplicated, and camping at King's Trailer Park is always
a great experience. From a precipitation point of view Scutaze Trail is a reasonably typical location. Of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the long summer days here at Scutaze Trail, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Scutaze Trail are in the-10's.
