  Far from civilization you find South Face Trail and it is one of many great trails in this area. Acadia National Park is a fine local destination here at South Face Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Blue Hill Falls offers some splendid whitewater. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Union River, and beaches are glorious and Cobble Beach is no exception.
A large amount of precipitation falls at South Face Trail; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is August.
    This place, South Face Trail, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Steward Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out, and a good beach nearby is Echo Lake Beach. There's so much to do here at South Face Trail that you need to camp here for a while,
Smuggler's Den Campground is a brilliant place for that; close by you locate Southern Neck.
Why not stop at nearby Great Brook if you're here at South Face Trail, and a brilliant place nearby is Little Notch. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Maine.
Throughout the summer months here at South Face Trail, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for South Face Trail tend to be in the 10's.
 
Seal Cove Dam is worth going to since you're here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything South Face Trail has to offer, you can camp at White Birches Campground.
