Stone House Trail

  Finally, hiking time is here again, and Stone House Trail in Oxford County, Maine is a really good place to spend some time. Maine is a great place for hikers. In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you.
It's a long drive from Berlin to Stone House Trail but hiking it is great fun any time. If you came to camp Basin Pond Campground is a great spot to do that; there's always Colton Dam to explore near
    Stone House Trail. And that's not all there is to do here in the White Mountains. There's so much to do here at Stone House Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Cold River Campground is a perfect site for that. Deer Hill
Spring is a good local attraction, and you certainly have to take a look at White Mountain National Forest since you're here. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Saco River - East Branch, and of course Rattlesnake Brook flows through this neighborhood. There's whitewater on Wild River for all you adrenaline kick people, and the smiling folks of Lovell like to hang out close by. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do close to Stone House  
Trail. Stone House Trail gets a typical amount of precipitation. The wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. At Stone House Trail during the summer highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 50's.
