The Anvil Trail

  No chance of getting bored in Maine if you like the outdoors. You'll have to go far from Bangor to get to The Anvil Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Visiting Acadia National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and The Anvil Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Flanders Bay is a wonderful local campground. A good beach right next door to The Anvil Trail is Sand Beach; swing
    by Mountain Brook it's a glorious location to pop by. Lamoine State Park is a magnificent place, and The Anvil Trail is a location with many visitors from Winter Harbor. A day at Hunters Beach in the vicinity of The Anvil Trail is
time well spent; hey, Mountain Brook is a nice local stream. All the outdoors fun stuff right next door to The Anvil Trail will keep you coming back again and again. Schoodic Ledge is a good spot to stop by in the vicinity of The Anvil Trail, and camping at Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort is always a fine experience. In the event that you donít have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Narraguagus River. Don't forget to pop  
by East Pond while you're here at The Anvil Trail. The Anvil Trail typically gets much precipitation. The month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is August. Summertime highs at The Anvil Trail regularly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's.
