| | No chance of getting bored in Maine if you like the outdoors. It's a long drive from Rockland to Trail Point Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. One of the best things about Trail Point Trail is its proximity to Goss Beach; if you come at the right time of year, Blue Hill Falls offers some pleasant whitewater. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Trail Point Trail.
Why not go to The Seal Trap also while you're here, and Trail Point Trail is glorious enough to spend more than a day |

at, Duck Harbor Campground is a glorious local campground. If you wish for a little side tour, try Trial Point Ledge, and camping at Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park is always a great experience. An average amount of rainfall falls at Trail Point Trail; November is the month that
| gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
During your stay at Trail Point Trail do take a look at nearby Boom Beach, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Goose Falls. Throughout the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Trail Point Trail, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Trail Point Trail tend to be in the 0's.
