Valley Trail

A long drive separates Bangor from Valley Trail, but it is a good trail. In Maine you never run out of outdoors fun. If time allows, Acadia National Park is a national park worth a visit, and a tour to Valley Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Lurvey Spring. A day at scenic Cobble Beach close to Valley Trail is a good thing to do. Valley Trail is near Lamoine State Park which is a pretty place, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if
it's for you then, we recommend Union River. If you came to camp Smuggler's Den Campground is a great location to do that, and Echo Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Camping at White Birches Campground is always
a good experience; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Man O'War Brook Falls. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Valley Trail has it all. There's whitewater on Blue Hill Falls for all you adrenaline people, and if you want a little side trip, try Great Notch. Why not have a look at close by Heath Brook if you're here at Valley Trail. Time spent at Echo Lake Beach close to Valley Trail is always delightful; obviously Man of War
Brook is a gorgeous stream that is worth checking out. Lots of folks from Southwest Harbor come to Valley Trail; since you're here, do take a trip to Ikes Point. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Valley Trail reach the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's.
