Western Mountain Ridge Trail

  You'll have to go far from Bangor to get to Western Mountain Ridge Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. A visit to Acadia National Park is worthwhile; there are plenty of folks from Mount Desert here at Western Mountain Ridge Trail. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Echo Lake Beach; camping at White Birches Campground is always a great experience.
