Wonderland Trail

While visiting this area in Maine it's a good idea to go hiking too. Wonderland Trail is a long drive away from Bangor but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. One of the best things about Wonderland Trail is its proximity to Cobble Beach. If you came to camp Bass Harbor Campground is a delightful spot to do that; Lamoine State Park is a splendid place to go. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Union River.
There's some flowing water nearby, Buttermilk Brook is a stream you can stop by while you're here. If you havenít been to Acadia National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it if you're here. If you come at the right time of
year, Blue Hill Falls offers some perfect whitewater. The smiling people of Bernard like to hang out close by; while you're here here do stop by close by Echo Lake Beach. Just can't get enough of Wonderland Trail. A good spot close to Wonderland Trail is Weaver Ledge, and obviously Marshall Brook flows through this neighborhood. Camping at Quiet Side Campground is always a good experience, and Ship Harbor is relatively close. Wonderland Trail is a wet place
that gets lots of rainfall. November is the month that gets the most rain while August is commonly the driest month. High temperatures at Wonderland Trail through the days of summer are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
