| | Alligator Eye Trail is very far from the nearest big city and if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Alligator Eye Trail in Gogebic County, Michigan is just the place. This location, the Gogebic Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Ontonagon River, and why not a little side trip to Slate River.
A short journey to Judson Falls is always worthwhile, and there are some splendid whitewater |
spots on Presque Isle. Alligator Eye Trail is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Ontonagon County Park Campground and Picnic Area is a glorious local campground, and a tour to Alligator Point is always a nice idea. Outdoors people generally like this part of Michigan.
