Camping at Gneiss Trail is glorious fun, Gunflint Pines is a glorious local campground; Sawbill Campground is a glorious campground here. At Gneiss Trail during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Gneiss Trail. Temperance River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Gneiss Trail, and why not a     little side spree to Sea Gull River. Gneiss Trail gets a common amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
