  When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Snake Trail in St. Louis County, Minnesota is a really good place to spend some time. Hiking trails are all over the Mesabi Range, it's a great hiking area. Minnesota is a great outdoors state.
For the duration of the months of summer at Snake Trail highs are commonly in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Snake Trail are in the-10's. If you come at the
    right time of year, Sturgeon River offers some nice whitewater, and Snake Trail is a good location to visit for more than one day, C C Campground 717 is a good location to camp nearby.
These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Mesabi Range.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little Fork River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Snake Trail has to offer, you can camp at Pine Beach Resort RV Park. Snake Trail is very far from the nearest big city and hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Snake Trail gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month.
