  In the Mesabi Range there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Finally, hiking time is here again, and if you happen to be in Itasca County of Minnesota, Stingy Lake Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Stingy Lake Trail gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. Minnesota is a great place for hikers.
Stingy Lake Trail is very far from the nearest big city and hiking it is great fun any
    time. You just ought to like the Mesabi Range. C C Campground 717 is a delightful campground nearby, and paddling on Little Fork River is so much fun.
During the warm days of summer at Stingy Lake Trail highs are ordinarily in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures
dip down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Stingy Lake Trail are in the-10's. Stay the night at Pine Beach Resort RV Park, and Sturgeon River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
