Genevieve County, Missouri is a perfect place for getting out. John J Audubon Trail is not very near Farmington at all but it's one of those places where hiking is great. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Ozarks where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. This part of Missouri has a great deal of available outdoors activities. If you come at the right time of year, Pickle Creek offers some great whitewater, and let's not     forget Bidwell Creek which is a stream that you may run into during your stay. The amount of rainfall that falls at John J Audubon Trail is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is March, and January meanwhile is the driest month. So much cool stuff to do here in the Ozarks, too good to be true. Bidwell Hollow is a nice site to go to nearby, and unsurprisingly Greasy Creek flows through this neighborhood. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at John J Audubon Trail are in the 10's.
