  Taum Sauk Trail is a trail quite far from Farmington but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. This part of Missouri has a great deal of available outdoors activities. In the Ozarks you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. All the outdoors fun things in the Ozarks will keep you coming back again and again. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carver Creek; you'll meet a lot of folks from Farmington here.
You
    can take a little visit to Shepard Mountain Dam while you're here at Taum Sauk Trail; some close by water includes Buckner Branch. Taum Sauk Trail gets a normal amount of yearly rain; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the
