Woods Trail is not very near Branson at all but it sure is a nice trail. In the Ozarks you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Woods Trail is a pretty wet place commonly with lots of rain; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. You simply have to go for the Ozarks. There's so much to do here at Woods Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Fisherman's Haven     Resort is a perfect site for that, and Water Hollow is close at hand, and is a magnificent location. At Woods Trail during the days of summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Woods Trail through the wintertime generally dip into the 20's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Woods Trail has to offer, you can camp at Shell Knob Campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring River.
