| | Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. A long drive separates Kalispell from Aeneas Creek Trail, but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. High temperatures at Aeneas Creek Trail through the summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Aeneas Creek Trail overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Graves Bay Campground is a great local campground.

Glide down the rapids of Swan River in a kayak, and Glacier National Park is a splendid local destination.
