From a rain point of view Alpine Trail is a relatively common spot; November is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. for a nice visit, Glacier National Park is quite near. You'll have to go far from Kalispell to get to Alpine Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. If you came for an overnight stay Lost Johnny Campground is a magnificent place to camp;
| if you're here at Alpine Trail it's a fine idea to stop at Otila Basin. In the Lewis Range you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. Paddling on Swan River is so much fun, and Alpine Trail is a place with many visitors from Kalispell. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Alpine Trail in Flathead County, Montana is the outdoors at it's best. Doris Point Campground is a great campground here. | |
