| | This part of Montana has a great deal of available outdoors activities. In the Lewis Range you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Alpine Trail is a trail quite far from Kalispell but it is a good trail. During the summertime at Alpine Trail highs are mostly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Alpine Trail.

County, Montana is just what you need. Otila Basin is right here at Alpine Trail, and if you have the time, Glacier National Park is a national park worth going to. The amount of rain that falls at Alpine Trail is close to the national average; through November this area sees the

Whitewater paddling is perfect on Flathead River - Middle Fork; if you came for an overnight stay Lost Johnny Campground is a great location to camp. If you're dropping by Alpine Trail from Kalispell, you won't be the only one.
