| | Many miles from the nearest city you have Avalanche Trail and what a great place for hiking it is. If you are in Montana during hiking season you have to go hiking. Camping at Avalanche Trail is tremendous fun, Sprague Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground; Avalanche Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Lewis Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.

place to spend some time. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Lewis Range, too splendid to be true. If you came for an overnight stay Avalanche Campground is a perfect place to camp; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Flathead River - Middle Fork. Throughout the warm days
| of summer at Avalanche Trail highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Avalanche Trail.
Avalanche Trail is a good location of common rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; the driest of the months is April. Glacier National Park is a very fine place to pop by in close proximity to Avalanche Trail.
