| | Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Black Butte Trail in Sweet Grass County, Montana is a really good place to spend some time. Black Butte Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. While visiting this area in Montana it's a good idea to go hiking too. Black Butte Trail is frequently a pretty dehydrated site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.

High temperatures at Black Butte Trail through the months of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Black Butte Trail. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Absaroka Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
