A pleasant spot to camp here at Black Pine Trail is Stony Creek Campground, and Blackfoot River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Black Pine Trail is pretty arid regularly; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February. Camping at Chalet Bearmouth is always a great experience; a good place for whitewater paddling is Rock
    Creek.
During the months of summer here at Black Pine Trail, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Black Pine Trail.
