Blacktail Creek Trail

  If you are in Montana during hiking season you have to go hiking. There are many hiking trails in the Lewis Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Blacktail Creek Trail in Lewis and Clark County, Montana is just the place.
It's a long drive from Helena to Blacktail Creek Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. Pear Creek is next
    to Blacktail Creek Trail and is always a delight to go to. There are plenty of people from Augusta here at Blacktail Creek Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Falls Creek offers some splendid whitewater. A wonderful
spot to camp here at Blacktail Creek Trail is Copper Creek Campground; drift down the rapids of Dearborn River in a kayak. Some nearby water includes Whitetail Creek, and why not camp at Hooper Park Campground since you're here at Blacktail Creek Trail. Throughout the summer months, highs generally are in the 70's at Blacktail Creek Trail, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. All through the winter highs are typically in the  
30's, and night lows at Blacktail Creek Trail through the wintertime typically plunge into the 10's. Around Blacktail Creek Trail you donít get a lot of precipitation. The month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
