| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Boundary Trail in Glacier County, Montana is the outdoors at it's best. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Lewis Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Boundary Trail being so far away from the nearest city it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. It is very waterless here at Boundary Trail mostly; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest month is February.
Getting to Dry Fork from Boundary Trail is painless; in case you don’t have a problem getting |

dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear Creek. Hiking here in Montana is a must. All through the days of summer at Boundary Trail temperatures are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs
| are ordinarily in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Boundary Trail temperatures drop to the 0's.
This is a great river. Flathead River - Middle Fork is a good whitewater spot near Boundary Trail, and Boundary Trail is a perfect site to camp, Three Forks Campground is a perfect site. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Lewis Range. Don't leave Boundary Trail without first paying a visit to Appistoki Falls; some of the water nearby flows, like Two Medicine Creek. And that's not all you can do here at Boundary Trail.
Running Eagle Falls is an inspiring location to have a look at while here, and Two Medicine Campground is a fine campground here. | |
