| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and if you happen to be in Lewis and Clark County of Montana, Caribou Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Caribou Trail has to offer, you can camp at Copper Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Falls Creek. Caribou Trail gets very little rain; all through May this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

like it here in the Lewis Range. Take a side trip to Middle Fork Falls Creek; there's whitewater on Dearborn River for all you thrill seekers. There's so much to do here at Caribou Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Aspen Grove Campground is a nice spot for that. Caribou
| Trail is very far from the nearest big city and you always have a good time when you're hiking along it.
Summertime highs at Caribou Trail typically tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Caribou Trail. With so many outdoors activities available in Montana you'll never get bored. In the Lewis Range there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
