You'll need more than a day to look at everything Caribou Trail has to offer, you can camp at Copper Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Falls Creek. | Trail is very far from the nearest big city and you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Summertime highs at Caribou Trail typically tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Caribou Trail. With so many outdoors activities available in Montana you'll never get bored. In the Lewis Range there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
