Cutoff Trail is in a quite desolate area and it sure is a nice trail. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Lewis Range. Visit Windy Creek while you're here at Cutoff Trail, and camping at Many Glacier Campground is always a magnificent experience. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Cutoff Trail in Glacier County, Montana is such a great place. During the summer highs here at Cutoff Trail reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the     40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Cutoff Trail night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Camping is available at Rising Sun Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork. Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range, it's a great hiking area.
