This is such a great river. If you came to camp Fly in Campground is a fine site to do that, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Blackfoot River - North Fork. At Elbow Pass Trail you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls during May, and February |

Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Lewis Range. Elbow Pass Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Benchmark Campground is a brilliant local campground; there's some flowing water close by, Elbow Creek is a stream you
| can have a look at while you're here. Elbow Pass is a great place to spend some time at, and Loaf Creek is next to Elbow Pass Trail and is always a diversion to stop by. All through the summertime highs here at Elbow Pass Trail get into the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Elbow Pass Trail night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
