Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Flattop Mountain Trail in Flathead County, Montana is just the place. Many miles from the nearest city you have Flattop Mountain Trail and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. If you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here; don't forget to take a tremendous little trip to Flattop Creek.

you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. For the period of the summer months here at Flattop Mountain Trail, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while
| the cold winter nights at Flattop Mountain Trail are in the 0's. That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Sprague Creek Campground is a delightful location to camp; it's a nice idea to pop by Mineral Creek.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and why not camp at Avalanche Campground while you're here at Flattop Mountain Trail.
Flattop Mountain Trail gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that snows the most; April on the other hand is the driest. | |
