Montana has lots of outdoors activities. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Lewis Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Summertime highs at Foothills Trail ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Foothills Trail. So many entertaining things to do in the Lewis Range, not enough     time. Foothills Trail is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Holland Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Missoula County of Montana, Foothills Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Foothills Trail gets a common amount of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July is the month with the least moisture.
