Gold Creek Trail is located quite a long drive from Butte-Silver Bow but it is a great escape from the city. Gold Creek Trail is regularly a quite dried up place; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. You just can't imagine     the amount of outdoors amusing things the Pioneer Mountains has to offer. Camping is available at Fourth of July Campground; swing by Lion Creek it's a perfect location to take a look at. A wonderful place to camp here at Gold Creek Trail is Canyon Creek Campground; whitewater paddling is perfect on Beaverhead. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Gold Creek Trail with nighttime lows in the 30's.
