| | Far from civilization you find Granite Park Trail and hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - Middle Fork. There's so much to do here at Granite Park Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Avalanche Campground is a tremendous spot for that. Glacier National Park is a very good location to check out in the neighborhood of Granite Park Trail, and why not a little side tour to Flattop Creek.

and if you happen to be in Flathead County of Montana, Granite Park Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. During the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Granite Park Trail. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Highs during the winter
