At Howe Lake Trail you don’t see much precipitation; most of the snow falls during December, and April is when it's the driest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Howe Lake Trail has to offer, you can camp at Fish Creek Campground, and soar down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak.
Summertime highs at Howe Lake Trail typically tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 20's,

Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. Some of the water nearby flows, like Howe Creek, and get covered with water paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. You'll have to go far from Kalispell to get to Howe Lake Trail but It's always fun to hike here.
