Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Jimmie Ridge Trail gets a typical amount of yearly rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. During the summertime months at Jimmie Ridge Trail highs are typically in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during |

There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork; since you're here, you could have a look at Wildcat Creek. You're sure to run into some good people from Kalispell here, and camping is available at Lost Johnny Point Campground.
Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Jimmie Ridge Trail. You'll have to go far from Kalispell to get to Jimmie Ridge Trail but it sure is a nice trail. | |
