Lincoln Lake Trail is a long drive away from Kalispell but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. Sprague Creek is a wonderful local stream.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Lewis Range. Some of the water close by flows, like Walton Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork. There's so much to do here
    at Lincoln Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Stanton Creek Lodge is a tremendous location for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some wonderful whitewater. Hiking trails are all over the Lewis Range where wonderful
nature is waiting for you.
Lincoln Lake Trail gets a common amount of annual rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. If you haven’t been to Glacier National Park, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lincoln Lake Trail has to offer, you can camp at Sprague Creek Campground.
At Lincoln Lake Trail during the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the
 
winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lincoln Lake Trail temperatures plunge to the 10's.
