| | When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Lodgepole Trail in Sweet Grass County, Montana is such a great place. There are many hiking trails in the Absaroka Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. High temperatures at Lodgepole Trail throughout the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Lodgepole Trail through the wintertime regularly sink into the 10's. So many exciting things to do here in the Absaroka Range, |
too perfect to be true. There's so much to do here at Lodgepole Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Mc Leod Resort is a good location for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder River - East.

| Woodbine Campground is a nice local campground; don't forget to take a perfect little trip to East Fork Upper Deer Creek. Around Lodgepole Trail you don’t get a lot of rainfall; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.
Coming to this river is always a good idea. Get dripping wet paddling on Boulder River. Lodgepole Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and it is a really good trail. Montana has so much to offer nature lovers.
