A quick tour to Fickler Creek right next door to Lone Mountain Trail is a perfect idea, and places like Indian Meadows are great to check out. some time. At this river you will never have a bad time. If you came for an overnight stay Copper Creek Campground is a wonderful location to camp; get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Falls Creek. Through the summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lone Mountain

A glorious spot for whitewater paddling near Lone Mountain Trail is Dearborn River. At Lone Mountain Trail you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is February. All year is a great time in the Lewis Range if you love the outdoors. Camping at Lone Mountain Trail is fine fun, Aspen Grove Campground is a fine local campground, and of course Snowbank Creek flows through this area. | |
