There's so much to do here at Long Canyon Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Big Sky RV Park and Campground is a great site for that, and lots of folks from Butte-Silver Bow come here. Long Canyon Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, H-j RV Park is a tremendous local campground; as expected West Fork Willow Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth a visit. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Long Canyon Creek, and a spree to Long Canyon Trail     wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Deer Spring. Long Canyon Trail is pretty waterless usually; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. Long Canyon Trail is located quite a long drive from Butte-Silver Bow but it sure is a nice trail. The warmest time of the year at Long Canyon Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's.
